The newest Jr. Blackbelts Cassidy Salzar,Caitlin Carlini,Shawn Arnold, and Gary Zeng deserve praise for completing a very hard and long test last night at O.K.I. I am so proud of the hard work these students have done. This was a long test not because of mistakes but of the amount of material covered. I thought the fighting was awesome, Gary was outstanding in his fighting ability and speed and excellent sharp kata. Caitlin Rose to a new level when she had to fight an adult. Shawn survived Haleys Comet, good job Shawn. The adults who helped with the testing all said that this was a good and clean test, also I heard some adults say that this test looked better than some adult tests we have had. The quality made us aLL PROUD!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL now help me get the next bunch ready.

congratulations to the four youth black belts.. i for one was very impressed.. you made it through..it was an honor to be allowed to be a part of your first step in karate.. maybe one of you could take me aside once in a while and help me with my next kata..id appreciate that.. you each made me proud to be here and a part of a school where quality is #1 and those who couldnt achieve at such a level are elsewhere!

It was very interesting for me, because I had taken about a week and an half off, and when I come back, four new black belts! I laughed out loud when I came in and saw them in class, and I was very happy for them. All of them are oustanding martial artists, and back when I trained with them in youth two they always had something to help me out with. Congratulations guys.
